Women's Network
The Women's Network of the Scottish Green Party exists to support and empower women within the party, to achieve gender balance among candidates for elections and to contribute a women's perspective to policy development.
We offer a support service for women considering standing for election to internal party committees or for council, MSP, MP or MEP positions. We have contributed to party policies on gender balancing, childcare provision at meetings and well as a spread of more mainstream policies.
We meet roughly every 6 weeks, alternating between Edinburgh, Glasgow and other places such as Dundee or Linlithgow.
